Compassionate Advocates
The Friends Helping Friends Foundation (FHFF) is a compassionate advocate for the Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control.
Our non-profit organization works to enhance the care for homeless and displaced animals by
building resources,
and facilitating outreach and educational activities about the humane treatment of companion animals.
By joining forces with the city shelter, FHFF is able to improve the quality of life for both the citizens of our
community and the four-legged companions at the Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control (CRACC). With your help we have:
- Bolstered adoptions
- Provided specialized veterinary care for sick or injured animals
- Sponsored training and education for staff, volunteers and community pet owners
- Enhanced shelter housing features to enrich the lives of the animals
- Provided funding to support community cat programming in Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas
But we can’t do it alone. We need your help and support.
At various times throughout the year, we are in need of volunteers, not only at the shelter, but also to plan and participate in fundraising events. Donations and gifts, at any time and of any amount, are put to work right away. And, as a small volunteer board, we welcome inquiries and new members who want to join our cause.
Please help, donate, or volunteer. Join us at an upcoming event.
